Biography
Hi, I’m Sohee, I’m a multidisciplinary designer based in London. I mostly focus on 3D, motion and digital images but also interested in sound design, architecture and photography. I really enjoy exploring other areas of design that I’m unfamiliar with and still trying to experience new and experimental stuff.

Somewhere In Between
“Somewhere In Between” is a project that aims to represent the connection between polar opposites, while also embodying the concept of continuous repetition like a loop, in my opinion. The words I selected for this project are “Dark/light side of the moon” and “Past/present.” The accompanying image reflects the graphic representation derived from these words. It portrays a pattern reminiscent of the lunar surface, symbolising the intricate thought processes of individuals that connect the past and present, along with the ever-changing cognitive frameworks that arise from them.

In This World
This project begins with the theme of the network between people, which represents this world. When I was young, I used to think of people in this world in terms of categorisations like white, black, and asian. However, at some point, I realised that all countries are connected through language, culture, and racial characteristics. So, while the starting point was the human network, it expanded to encompass my own network and the countless relationships connected to it. Just like numerous nodes are interconnected in a network, I expressed the continuously generating objects that are connected to each other in 3D motion.

Many Faces
“Many Faces” portrays various faces of individuals, including my own perception of myself, how others perceive me, and different personas based on different situations. “People want to show the appearance of what they want to show, but people desire to see others the way they want.”
